ACLED uses Bamboo HR as its HR software. It is used to onboard and offboard team members, as a repository of employee and contractor information, to gauge team members’ work satisfaction, and to relay information about important things happening at ACLED.

Always make sure to keep your "Assignment and Expertise" tab up to date, especially the "Work Assignment" section. This helps us to find Researchers with extra hours for additional assignments. Since ACLED is working in a fast-paced environment we are sometimes looking for additional help on an ad-hoc basis. For example, when the Global Data Collection team is looking for someone who could help out in special coding projects, or another desk needs someone to step in for a holiday replacement.

In Bamboo, your data is stored securely behind firewalls with military-grade encryption (AES-256). To start, you can review basic security information here. Also, BambooHR is Privacy Shield Certified. BambooHR's certificate information can be found here. Finally, most questions can be answered within Bamboo's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy documentation found.
